Second Chance
Iredell County offers empowering second chance opportunities, facilitating workforce development and fresh starts for individuals aiming to reclaim their potential.
Increasing Skill levels, Employability, and Compensation Potential
Second Chance services represent a proactive approach to reintegrating individuals who have been incarcerated back into society. These comprehensive programs aim to break the cycle of recidivism by providing essential support, guidance, and resources to those returning from state and federal prisons, local jails, and juvenile facilities.
Empowering Reentry with Second Chance Services
Through skill-building workshops, educational initiatives, job training, and counseling, Second Chance services empower individuals with the tools to navigate their reentry into the community successfully. Ultimately, Second Chance services aim to offer a fresh start, equipping individuals with the confidence and abilities to forge a new path forward.
Project Reentry
Project Reentry’s mission is to improve the reintegration of former offenders, reduce criminal justice costs, and increase public safety. Services are provided both inside NC prisons and in the community by Criminal Justice Department staff and in collaboration with our community partner Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina
