Full Bloom Film Festival Presents Its First Animated Feature Film

The Full Bloom Film Festival is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking addition to this year’s lineup with its first-ever animated feature film, The Inventor. Join us on Saturday, September 7th, from 2:30 PM to 4:20 PM on Mitchell Community College Campus at Shearer Hall for a captivating journey through the life and imagination of one of history’s greatest minds, Leonardo da Vinci.
From the writer of Ratatouille, this enchanting stop-motion animation film follows the insatiably curious Leonardo da Vinci as he travels from Italy to the French court. There, alongside the audacious princess Marguerite, Leonardo embarks on a series of thrilling experiments and extraordinary inventions. Through their adventures, the pair explores the mysteries of life and the universe, ultimately seeking the answer to the age-old question: “What is the meaning of it all?”
Directed by Jim Capobianco and Pierre-Luc Granjon, The Inventor offers a unique blend of historical narrative and creative animation, making it an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. With a runtime of 1 hour and 39 minutes, this feature promises to captivate and inspire.

SPECIAL INVITATION
As a special invitation, children 14 and under can attend the screening for free when accompanied by an adult. This family-friendly event is an excellent opportunity to introduce young viewers to the wonders of animation and the inspiring story of one of history’s most renowned inventors. The first 50 children who attend will receive paint kits to inspire creativity and inspiration for our young artists in our community.
