Get ready for a night of gaming and fun for a great cause.
Game On: A Family Game Night will kick off Crosby Scholars’ tenth year of supporting higher education opportunities for Iredell County students. Attendees will enjoy dinner and fun, family games while helping college dreams become reality. Game On: A Family Game Night is Crosby Scholars of Iredell County’s primary annual fundraiser.
“We wanted this event to be enjoyable for all ages,” says Executive Director Suzanne Wegmiller. “Our mission is serious, but we can also have fun raising these much-needed funds.”
Since 2015, Crosby Scholars has provided grants, scholarships and programs for students. Offerings include campus tours, career exploration sessions, academic workshops and more. Over 1800 Iredell County public school students are current members. More than 1400 have graduated from Crosby Scholars.
Game On: A Family Game Night takes place Jan. 25, 2025 at the Crawford Farm in Statesville. Activities will include BINGO, Head and Tails, Minute-To-Win-It games, and children’s games.
Tickets are $30/person and include a meal, beverage and BINGO card. Family 4-pack tickets are $100 and include two adult meals, two children’s meals, four BINGO cards and 24 game tickets. Additional BINGO cards and game tickets will be available during the event. Advance purchase is available now at www.crosbyscholarsiredell.org.
Sponsorship packages from $100 to $5000 are also available. Sponsorships show students and their families that the community cares. Each donation is an investment in the future, providing educational opportunities for Iredell County students.
Sponsorships support grants, scholarships and programming needs. That includes Last Dollar Grants for Crosby Scholars enrolled in higher education. These need-based grants help cover expenses that remain after all other financial aid options have been exhausted, including government aid, school-based grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study.
Sponsorships are payable by check to Crosby Scholars of Iredell County, 124 4th Crescent Pl, Statesville, NC 28625. Sponsorships are also available online here.
