Vocational Growth for Young Adults

Job Corps​

Job Corps is a program administered by the United States Department of Labor that offers free education and vocational training to young men and women ages 16 to 24. Job Corps’ mission is to help young people improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training aimed at gainful employment and career pathways.

NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

In partnership with North Carolina’s educators, the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) provides Pre-Employment Transition Services at no cost to students eligible for special education-related services. Vocational Rehabilitation also provides more intensive case management services to help young people with disabilities explore career options, develop goals for their future and overcome challenges they may face.
